Meet Dr. Shaun McCue

Dr. McCue was raised in a small town in central Illinois and grew to love Wisconsin through summers spent fishing and canoeing in the the Northwoods of Minocqua with his grandparents. He received his bachelors in Biology, Magna Cum Laude, from Augustana College in the Quad Cities. From there he went to Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with Honors.

After graduation he enjoyed practicing in the mountains of Colorado before marrying his college best friend Ellie and getting called home to the midwest to start a family.

Dr. McCue is constantly striving to learn new techniques to better serve his patients. He has sought continuing education learning and practicing TMJ (jaw pain) treatment, full mouth rehabilitation for people with significant tooth wear, and cosmetic smile design with the Dawson Academy Study Club. He is happy to be able to offer those he cares for emergency treatment including root canals and extractions as well as clear aligner tooth movement with Invisalign.

Dr. Blalock grew up on a beef cattle farm in Crossville, TN. The time he spent working on the farm taught Dr. Blalock valuable problem-solving skills and a good work ethic. After Dr. Blalock suffered a dental injury when a cow’s hoof contacted his teeth, his dentist repaired his smile and sparked a fascination for the art of dentistry. Because of that experience, Dr. Blalock realized his calling was to become a dentist. He loves that dental work gives him the ability to work creatively with his hands while interacting with patients and making a positive impact on their lives.

Dr. Blalock graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tennessee Tech University with an undergraduate degree in health science biology. He went on to graduate with honors from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry
